Assignment information
This group assignment involves a thorough financial analysis and assessment of a business organisation. Each group must choose one company from the list below to analyse. The financial data should span a period of three consecutive recent years which can be obtained from the ‘DarAnalysis’ database which can be obtained online via the Swinburne Library or the company’s website.

Other useful information can be obtained from the following sources:
• Industry context: Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), IBIS (Swinburne University Library has access to some but not all ABS and IBIS information);
• Market: Australian Securities Exchange (ASX);
• Newspapers: Australian Financial Review, other newspapers and business publications (such as BRW) (eg through the Factiva database available through the Swinburne University Library);
Each group should perform the following tasks:
• Examine the selected organisation’s profile in terms of its history, strategy, current size, current market(s), as well as current products or services.
• Assess the organisation’s profitability, efficiency, liquidity, solvency, and share market performance over the selected time period
• Make an explicit recommendation as to whether or not the selected organisation is financially stable and performing in line with market expectations
The length of this assignment report should not exceed 3,000 words excluding calculations, tables, charts and the appendices. The total report (including appendices is assessed).
Structure your assignment report as follows, using the following headings:
Title page
