A few months ago, she started having pains in her right hand and wrist after work, and eventually the pain escalated to the point that it would last into the night, and not go away at all. As a single mother, she is responsible for all the home duties for her two children, and she has been unable to care for them properly with her hand pain, causing her sadness.

When she approached her employer, he told her to "suck it up," as it is a consequence of the job. After hearing this Delores has been up at night in pain, and worrying about losing her job as she feels she can no longer do it properly.
