Complains of nausea.
Is unable to tolerate oral fluids.
Has not voided in 15 hours.
States that she is very scared of needles.

Vital signs: temp, 37.7º C; pulse, 125 bpm; resp, 30 breaths/min; blood pressure, 102/64 mm Hg
Capillary refill time: 3 to4 seconds
Mother is pacing in the room.
Leslie is sucking her thumb and will not make eye contact with staff members.
