What is relative velocity?, Physics

When you are talking about relative velocity of A with respect B then it''s like you are observing the motion of A while standing on B. That is, with respect to you, B is at rest.

Eg:

VAB=VA-VB

It is similar for relative position, relative acceleration etc.
