State about polyploid cells

During development cells of certain tissues like the salivary gland and liver produce extraordinary amounts of selected proteins. This is often achieved by reduplicating either the whole genome or just the genes that coded for the proteins of interest. Which of the following kinds of cell cycles would be the best at generating polyploid cells?

A. Normal cell cycle (G1-S-G2-M)

B. Endocycle (G1-S)

C. Embryonic Oscillator (M-S)

D. A normal cell cycle with an extended S phase
