There is an old saying that goes around that indicates the fact that "its not what you do but how you do it". Eisner could have gotten a lot further with compromises and alliances than he did with right out disagreeing with the individuals that he should have been trying to build the relationships with. It is okay to disagree with a concept, but you have to know how to separate your disagreement with a principle or concept from the standing of your relationship with another person or group of people. These are called people skills and thought Eisner had great business skills and abilities, his people skills seemed to leave a lot to be desired. He actually sacrificed the well-being of Walt-Disney's interest for the sake of what appears to have been an expensive bout of pride.
