Zero address instruction format is used for
(A) RISC architecture.
(B) CISC architecture.
(C) Von-Neuman architecture.
(D) Stack-organized architecture.
In stack organized architecture push and pop instruction is requires a address field to specify the location of data for pushing into the stack and destination location during pop operation but for logic and arithmetic operation the instruction does not require any address field as it operates on the top two data available in the stack.
What are the Features of CISC Processors The standard features of CISC processors are listed below: CISC chips have a large amount of dissimilar and complex instructions.
Memory Organization - Computer architecture: BASIC CONCEPTS: Address space - 16-bit : 216 = 64K mem. locations - 32-bit : 232 = 4G mem. locations - 40-b
Prove the following Boolean identities using the laws of Boolean algebra: ABC + AB ‾C + ABC ‾ = A(B + C) Ans. ABC+AB'C+ABC'=A(B + C) LHS AC(B+B')+AB(C+C') OR AC+AB OR A(B
Explain the concept of Generalization Generalization and inheritance are powerful abstractions for sharing the structure and/or behaviour of more than one class. Generalizati

Explain bit pair recoding with an example? Ans: Bit pair recoding halves the maximum number of summands. Group the Booth-recoded multiplier bits in pairs and see the following
What do you understand by Hit ratio? When a processor refers a data item from a cache, if the referenced item is in the cache, then such a reference is called hit. If the refer
Define miss rate? It is the number of misses' states as a fraction of attempted accesses.
5-pin DIN connector: It is the connector of conventional keyboard which have 5 pins (2 IN, 2 OUT and one ground pin) used for transfer and synchronization.
Here are some common development milestones that you should aim for: 1. Send a packet over. Send an acknowledgement back. 2. Have checksum algorithm executed 3. Ability t
