WORKING:

Water is filled through feed check valve. On burning fuel over grate, the hot gasses are produced which move in flue gas tubes. The flue gasses reach rear end of boiler and then made to deflect and pass through the bottom central chamber. On reaching front end flue gasses again get deflected and then pass through the side chambers. Finally flue gasses are discharged to atmosphere through the chimney. The flow of flue gasses is controlled by dampers that are operated by boiler operator by using chain pulley arrangement.
