Why memory decoding is required, Electrical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Why memory decoding is required?

To attach a memory device to the microprocessor, this is necessary to decode the address sent by the microprocessor. Decoding creates the memory function at a unique section or partition of that memory map. Without this address decoder, only one memory device can be attached to a microprocessor that would make this virtually useless.
