When the plant transpiration increases, Biology

Assignment Help:

When air humidity is high does the plant transpiration increase or lower?

When air humidity is high transpiration diminishes. As transpiration is a simple diffusion process it depends upon the concentration gradient of water among the plant and the environment.

If the atmosphere has too much water vapor the gradient becomes lower or even reversed.
