After going through this unit, you should be able to:

1 identifies the eligible candidate for cardiac rehabilitation and benefit of it;
2 describe the effect on survival, lipid metabolism, weight, blood pressure and psychocological well being; and
3 describe the safety, level and frequency of rehabilitation programme
