A non-empty set or group of which all the sets under concern are subsets is known as the universal set. In any part of application of set theory, all the sets under concern might likely to be subsets of a set called as Universal Set. As name represents it is the set with collection of all the parts and generally identified by 'U'.
e.g. Set of real numbers R is a universal set for the operations associated to real numbers.
