What is tantalum, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

Q. What is Tantalum?

Tantalum is one of the most corrosion-resistant metals known. However, the high cost of tantalum has limited its commercial use as an all-purpose corrosion-resistant material.

Where relatively thin films or light gauge materials can be employed, tantalum can be a cost-effective material in highly corrosive environments.
