Signal transduction occurs when an extracellular signaling molecule activates a cell surface receptor. In words, this receptor change intracellular molecules changes a response. There are two levels in this procedure: the signaling molecule activates a particular receptor protein on the cell membrane. A 2nd messenger transfers the signal into the cell and eliciting a physiological response. In either level the signal can be amplified. Whereas, one signalling molecule can cause several responses. Gene activations and metabolism alterations are instances of cellular responses to extracellular stimulation which requires signal transduction.
SPERM A T OGENESIS The process of maturation of reproductive cells in the testes of male to form spermatozoa (sperm) is known as spermatogenesis. The testes are formed
Monocotyledonous Embryo The early development of the proembryo in monocots follows the same pattern as in the dicots. However, at the time of differentiation in the globular

Explain of Functional property Browning/Flavour/ Aroma Mode of action Proteins contribute to browning by reacting with lactose and other reducing sugars present in a form
Why is the human placenta referred to as haemochorial type? Name the hormone it secretes to facilitate parturition.
Hydrophilic and some lipophilic hormones bind to cell surface receptors. These are necessary membrane proteins located in the plasma membrane which bind the signaling mol
