Session Layer: Allows two applications to establish, utilize and disconnect a connection  between them known as a session. Gives for name recognition and additional functions like security, which are required to allow applications to communicate over the network.

Presentation Layer: Evaluates the format used to exchange data among networked computers.

Application Layer: Gives Applications with access to network services.
