What is secondary list?
It permits you to enhance the information presented in the basic list. The user can, for example, select a line of the basic list for which he requires to see more detailed information. You show these details on a secondary list. Secondary lists may either overlay the basic list completely or you can show them in an extra window on the screen. The secondary lists can themselves be interactive again.
Linked list means node which is linked each other with a line. It means that every node is connected with another one. Every node of the list hold the reference of the next node.
