Q. What is Schokleys Equation. Find out a relation between Vgs and Ids?
Schokleys Equation is used for defining the relation between the Gate source voltage and the Drain current. The relation is :
Id = Idss(1 - (Vgs/Vp)^2)
From this relation we get,
Vgs = Vp*(1-sqrt(Id/Idss))
Vgs : Gate to Source Voltage
Id : Drain Current
Idss : Saturation Current
Vp : Pinch off Voltage
