What is radioactivity?
Radioactivity: The process of spontaneous disintegration of the nuclei of heavy elements with the emission of certain radiations is known as natural radioactivity.
The nuclei of certain elements with atomic number more than 82 disintegrate by emitting alpha (α ), beta (β ) and gamma (c ) rays. This phenomenon is called radioactivity.
Electrical Properties of Dielectric Material A loss of energy which eventually produces a rise in temperature of a dielectric placed in an alternating electric field is calle
Can radiations like gamma rays and x-rays be made prevented to enter a place by a magnetic field? Ans) Rutherford noted that gamma rays were not deflected (or at least, not easi
