Q. What is Line graphs?

The points on a line graph symbolize the intersection of data for two variables. The independent variable is contrived on the horizontal axis. The dependent variable is contrived on the vertical axis. The points on a line graph are associated by a best fit line which is a line drawn so that as many points fall above the line as below it.

If a greatest fit line is straight there is a linear relationship between the variables. This relationship is able to be described by the steepness or slope of the line. If the line increases to the right the slope is positive. A positive slope signifies that the dependent variable increases as the independent variable increases. If the line drops to the right the slope is negative. A negative slope signifies that the dependent variable decreases as the independent variable increases. You can utilize two data points to calculate the slope of a line.
