Q. What is Fusion Bonding?

Fusion Bonding shall refer to the fusion bond coating process which utilizes heat to melt adhere the coating material to the metal surface.
Fusion Bond Epoxy Coating shall refer to 100 percent solids thermosetting epoxy coating applied from the powdered state to preheated pipe. The powder, when in contact with the hot pipe, melts, flows and cures to a well adhered continuous corrosion resistant coating.
