What is Dip Stick Test

It is a rapid method of detection of Ketone bodies which you can perform easily.

Plastic strips impregnated with a buffered mixture of sodium nitroprusside and glycine is now widely used. Usually it is available as single reagent strip for ketone detection or as Multi strip Reagent Strip for detection of Sugar, protein, ketone bodies and other substances in urine. The strips are available commercially produced by several manufacturers like Seimens, Boehringer, Milles, Ames etc.
