Although conduction does occur in liquids and gases also, heat is transmitting in these media mostly by convection. In that phenomenon, the real motion of the material is responsible for the heat transmit. Familiar examples added hot-air and hot-water home heating objects, the cooling objects of an automobile engine and the flow of blood in the system.
You probably have warmed your hands by taking them over an open flame. In that condition, the air directly above the flame is expands and heated. As a result, the density of this air reduces and then air rises. Air flow at a beach is an example of easy convection. When the heated substance is forced to move by a pump or fan, the process is called as forced convection. If it were not for convection present, it would be very hard to boil water. As water is boiled in a kettle, the boiled water expands and arises to the top due to its density is lowered. At that same point, the denser, cool water at the end surface sinks to the bottom of the kettle and is heated.
Explain about the transmission electron microscope. The Transmission Electron Microscope Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) is a microscopy method; a beam of electrons i

what do you mean by retardation plates?explain their functioning by taking an example of a quarter wave plate
ACCELERATION: The time rate of change of velocity of a body is known as acceleration.
The average speed of a substance in a given interval of time is described as the ratio of the distance completed to the time taken while; average velocity is described as the ratio
A single-phase transformer has 2400 turns on the primary and 600 turns on the secondary. Its no-load current is 4A at a power factor of 0.25 lagging. Suppose the volt drop
The velocity of a motor boat with respect to Still Water is 7 m/s and the velocity of water in river is 3 m/s. When the boat starts moving upstream, a float was dropped from it.
INSTANTANEOUS VELOCITY: The velocity of a body at a certain instant of time is known as instantaneous velocity.
Electromotive force EMF (ξ) - This is the electrical energy from an ideal battery with no internal resistance. It is also the open circuit value of a battery (no current is drawn
An approximate equation for the velocity distribution in a rectangular channel with turbulent flow is where umax is the velocity at the surface, y is the distance from the
