What interprets can a browser contain besides HTML and HTTP?

Besides an HTTP client and an HTML interpreter, a browser can have elements whihc enable the browser to perform any additional task. For illustration, many browsers contain an FTP client which is used to access the file transfer services. Several browsers also include e-mail client software which enables the browser to send as well as receive e-mail messages.
