Q. What are Whole numbers?
The set of whole numbers is the set of natural numbers with the zero thrown in:
0,1,2,3,4,...
Hint: Some people remember that the whole numbers include zero by noticing that 0, like a donut, has a "hole" ("whole") in it.
Notice that the whole numbers don't include negative numbers.
Like natural numbers, the whole numbers are closed under addition and multiplication, but not under subtraction and division.
