Assignment Help:

What are the Technical Limitations of screw conveyer

Technical Limitations:

? Turning limitation of this mechanism

Actually the Maximum Turning of U-joint is 18° to 22° but, we required angular turning is 60° to 90° because of proper moment in desired space is required for angular turning of extra auger in main auger shafts through a U-joint in this mechanisms.

? Additional cost Due to extra hydraulic cylinder.

We require the four cylinders are used in this mechanisms for extension of auger in main auger shaft and that why the additional cost is increased.

Transportation Problem.

Due to transportation of paver machine from one place to another by the heavy vehicle such as trucks. This mechanism is overhanging to the chassis of machine. So this reason the transportation problem is occurred.

? Mounting problem.

? Motion Restriction.

When the hydraulic cylinder is provide to that mechanism for operation of paving with extension but it is the motion is restricted in only one plane not other planes then due to dynamic balancing is not proper and not withstand the load during the operation and motion is restricted in other plane the increase the complexity and also increase the cost
