What are the factors affected to motivation?

Factors affecting motivation are as follows:

a. Achievement: Personal satisfaction within job completion and solving problem

b. Advancement: Promotion to the most higher job/level

c. Growth: Learning latest skills that will offer greater opportunity for advancement.

d. Recognition: Acknowledgement of a job completed well

e. Responsibility and Authority: It should be in relation to one’s job

f. Work itself: Actual job content and this is positive or negative outcome onto the worker

g. Company Policy and Administration: Feelings regarding the adequacy or inadequacy of company’s management policies and organization and procedures

h. Job Security:  Tenure, company instability or stability

i. Interpersonal Relations: Relations along with superiors, subordinates as well as peers

j. Salary: Pay and fringe advantages

k. Status: Size of office and private secretary so forth.

l. Supervision – Competency or technical ability of supervision

m. Working Conditions: Physical Environment

n. Personal Life: It’s about personal factors which affect the job.
