What are the various forms of aid a developing country might receive?

Here the student must show clearly the difference between grant (donor) aid; reciprocal (tied) aid; bilateral aid; multilateral aid; soft loans; and writing off debt. For higher marks, the student should not simply list several types, but be able to give examples and perhaps put into context.
