Q. Is there vaccine against tuberculosis?

The vaccine against the tuberculosis is called as BCG (bacillus Calmette-Guérin). BCG is not used in a few countries where tuberculosis isn't so prevalent because it can distort later diagnostic studies of the disease, in other countries like Brazil, it is compulsory for children and the vaccine is made of attenuated TB bacteria.
