d) Describe the importance of adding external memory, particularly program memory?

e) Timers may operate in any one of the four modes that are determined by the mode bits, M1 and M0, in the TMOD register (timer mode control register). Differentiate between Timer Mode 1 and Timer Mode 2. Support your answer with appropriate diagrams.

f) Explain the function of the register SBUF (serial data buffer).
