c) (i) What do you understand by the term Business Process Re-engineering?

(ii) A business company has requested your services for a re-engineering process. The officer in charge of that company, who wishes to challenge the company's old rules and assumptions, however confuses BPR with Business Improvement. This may consequently result in the rejection of your services. In a brief and convincing memo addressed to him, treat any three issues to distinguish between BPR and Business Improvement.

(iii) The business company is computerized and has its own corporate network. It is also involved in data processing. Give three ways to show how Information Technology may enhance BPR.
