Q. Undermining the Position of Women - ethical aspects of ads?

A few ads are undermine the position of aged persons, women. In a few cases women are shown as sex-object. They are hardly ever shown as professional's corporate-officials. Likewise aged-persons are mostly shown as dependent, helpless, sick. This undermines their position in society. Some women-organisations have raised objections against this sterio-typing.
