Two Modes of Operation of Tablets

Tablets typically sustain two modes of operation as:

1)  Digitizer Mode: creates a one-for-one connection between screen and tablet.

Wherever you create contact on the tablet, it is the proper location on the screen that is influenced.

2)  Mouse Mode: it moves the screen pointer relative to any beginning position on the tablet surface as like a mouse.

While drawing or tracing on the tablet, a sequence of x-y coordinates that are vector graphics, are created, either like a continuous stream of coordinates or like ending points. Moreover the drawings created or traced on tablets are build up as mathematical line segments; and these characteristics of tablets assist to generate, tablet computers and tablet PCs and pen tablets.

Note: Objects are drawn along with a pen or puck or stylus, although are traced along with the puck only.
