Assignment Help:
Hello,

I have some questions pertaining to electromagnetic induction. Could you please give me a hand? Thanks.

If we increase the speed of the bar magnet slowly from 0 to 8, and set the number of solenoid turns to 10, I would see an increase in the induced voltage.

At a certain point, the induced voltage is 0 (on the Voltmeter). This is when the bar magnet is stationary and there is no current.

Also, at certain points, the induced voltage would reach its maximum and its minimum (as indicated by the deflection of the needle on the Voltmeter).

Am I correct by saying: the induced voltage would reach its maximum if the bar magnet is pushed towards the coil and the induced voltage would reach its minimum when the bar magnet is pulled away from the coil?

Regards,

Philip
