System Layout Planning Activity Relationship Chart
Systematic layout planning (SLP) method is used in some production systems such as service systems, where the amount of material that flow between departments may not be critical for developing a good facility layout. This method develops a chart known as relationship chart or Richard Mther s half matrix which rates the relative importance of locating one department close to another department.
