You would recall the classification of fires dealt. Table summaries the type of extinguisher used for different classes of fire.

This table as you can see only shows which type of fire extinguisher is to be used for what class of fire. However the laboratory staff should be trained to make use of fire extinguishers for different situations. Let us study this in the next subsection.
