This is an optional team assignment. This grade will replace your lowest two homework grades. You may work in teams of 3-4 students.
Design the lightest concrete cantilever beams that will safely carry the loads for the new addition shown below. All beams are fabricated of f'c= 4000 psi concrete. Grade 60 reinforcing steel is specified. The use of the new space is a meeting/break room for an office building.
