Assignment Help:

Step Up Chopper

In this  chopper average output  voltage  is greater than  input  voltage. The circuit  different  mode  of operation and  current  waveforms are show.

When  chopper  is on  current flows  through  L and Switch  sw. In Ton  period  inductor L stores energy and polarity of inductance voltage shown in figure. As  we know inductor opposes the instantaneous change in current  therefore current does not change immediately but increase increases linearly from I1  to  I2. During Ton  period the input energy.
