Floor number display, Electrical Engineering

Assignment Help:

It is required that the current floor position be displayed as a number 1, 2, or 3 on a seven segment LED display on floor 1, which is quite close to the LCU.

Data Storage

It is required that the system has the capacity to record the following operational information for a period of 6months:

  • the total number of lift movements in 6 months
  • for each lift movement
  • the start and end position

Lift operation is expected to average 10 movements per hour, for 10hours of operation per day, 6 days per week.  You will require  this  information to correctly determine memory requirements for  the amount of external RAM  required  in your system design, based on the maximum number of lift movements and the data stored for each movement.
