hey i have some examples regarding to your problem, may be this is beneficial for you, try it.

Assume that we have an equation as given below:

            ax2 + bx + c = 0

Whereas a, b and c are constants, and a≠ 0. The equation is referred to as the common quadratic equation in x. if b = 0 after that we have

ax2 + c = 0

that is a pure quadratic equation

There are three usual methods for solving quadratic equations; solution via factorization, solution via completing the square and solution via the quadratic formula.
