Soda lime test - Nitrogen

A pinch of an organic compound is heated strongly along with soda lime (NaOH + CaO) in a test tube. If ammonia gas acts, it depicts nitrogen.

Though, this test is, not reliable as certain compounds like nitro, azo etc do not develop NH3 when heated with soda lime.
