All social scientists do not feel comfortable in observing a situation for a long time they feel more at ease in asking question for an hour or so. Only a few scholars adjust themselves in an observable situation. Thus persons with certain characteristics and skills can prove to be good observers. Some women working as observers cause some comments when walking around in different situations in different times of the day or attending some rites and rituals or festivals etc. Besides access to some areas is denied to women.
