Similarities in Construction of MOSFET and JFET
(i) JFET is a three terminal semiconductor device (source, drain and gate) in which current conduction is by majority carriers (electrons or holes), while MOSFET is also a three terminal semiconductor device in which current conduction is by majority carriers.
(ii) JFET is Voltage Controllable Device (i.e., gate terminal is used for controlling drain current while MOSFET is also a Voltage Controllable Device.
