Silver mirror test and Fehling's solution test - Glucose

(a) Silver mirror test : A combination of glucose and ammonical silver nitrate is warmed in a test tube. Presence of silver mirror on the inner walls confirms glucose.

(b) Fehling's solution test : A little glucose is warmed along with Fehling's solution. A red color precipitate of cuprous oxide is made.
