Another way to show that water pressure increases with depth
Search a tall tin can. Punch holes up the side of the can about 3 cm apart. Put a strip of adhesive or plastic tape over the row of holes and fill the can with water above the top hole. Hold the can over a sink and strip the tape from the holes starting at the bottom. Observe the streams and note the distances travelled outwards from the can.
