Assignment Help:

Q. Scope of work for a project in Mechanical Engineering?

The Mechanical Engineering scope of work for a project involves the design and specification of mechanical equipment and piping systems to a level of detail adequate for the procurement and construction of the Client's facility. Mechanical equipment and piping systems, as referenced above, can be further defined as Stationary Equipment, Rotating Equipment, HVAC systems, Piping Engineering, Piping Stress Analysis and Metallurgical Engineering. This work is normally coordinated by a Project Manager/Engineer who will provide a Project Execution Plan (PEP), a list of deliverables and a schedule for all disciplines. The Mechanical Lead will review and comment on these items. Unresolved discrepancies shall be reviewed with the Mechanical Engineering Department Head.
