  • Traffic data management systems project's objectives are by and large defined in general statements. It is significant that the requirements for the traffic data developments are not be very explicit. If they are very definite, they may affect the way the traffic data project is designed, to the point of "not including" factors that seems unrelated but may be key to the analysis being carried out.
  • One of the major reasons for describing the scope of the project is to avoid invariable change throughout the life cycle as new requisites occur.
  • The key purpose of the TDMS project is for data analysis but not to muddle up operational objectives with the traffic data project's informational objectives.
