If ABC is an obtuse angled triangle, obtuse angled at B and if AD⊥CB Prove that AC2 =AB2 + BC2+2BCxBD

Ans:    AC2 = AD2 + CD2

= AD2 + (BC + BD)2

= AD2 + BC2 + 2BC.BD+BD2

= AB2 + BC2 + 2BC.BD
