Q. Programmed input - output technique for computers?
Programmed input/output is a useful I/O technique for computers where hardware costs need to be minimised. Input or output operation in these cases may involve:
a) Transfer of data from I/O device to processor registers.
b) Transfer of data from processor registers to memory.
With programmed I/O method responsibility of processor is to constantly check status of I/O device to check whether it's free or it has completed inputting data. So this method is quite time consuming where processor wastes so much time in checking and verifying status of an I/O device. Figure (a) gives an illustration of use of programmed I/O to read in a block of data from a peripheral device into memory.
• Moral and Ethical Implications o Will this be safe to have on the road Will the computers on board be able to handle extreme circumstances • Hazardous conditions o Ex
Q. Signaling PVM process? int pvm_sendsig( int tid, int signum ) Transmits a signal to other PVM process. tid is task identifier of PVM process to receive signal.
Utilization Summary The Utilization Summary shows the status of each processor i.e. how much time (in the form of percentage) have been spent by every processor in busy mode, o
what is process management ?
Q. What is Input - Output Instructions? An I/O instruction is stored in memory of computer and is fetched as well as executed by processor producing an I/O-related command for

What is CTS and CLS? CLS stands for common language specification CTS stands for common type system.
DRAM consists of MOSFET's but the technique is to use the drain source capacitance to hold charge. If charge is present logic '1' is held, no charge logic '0'. As you know capacito
What are the exceptions encountered for FP operation? The exceptions encountered for FP operation are overflow, underflow. /0, inexact and invalid values.
