Program Analysis
We have to find the greater of two given number. We can store the given numbers in two different registers ( suppose register A and B). Then we will compare the contents of register B with the contents of accumulator A. If the contents A are greater than B Both CY and Z flag is reset. If the contents of A are equal to B, Z flag is set and CY flag is reset. Here we assume for simplicity of the program that the given numbers are not equal then only carry flag can decide that which number is greater. F carry flag is set the content of accumulator A are less than the contents of B otherwise the contents of B are greater than the contents of accumulator A.
Flow chart : it is better to draw the flow chart before writing the program.
For the circuit in figure, find: a) Total resistance b) Total current c) Current flow through resistor 6Ω and 4Ω
Speed Control Using Phase Controlled Converters Phase controlled converters converts a constant ac voltage into variable controlled dc voltage. This variable dc voltage
15 cells with emf for every cell are 1.5V and internal resistance 0.3Ω is linked in parallel. Calculate the value of current flow if the external resistance, 5Ω is linked to them.
For Parity Flag CPRE (Call on parity even) and CPO (Call or parity Odd) Instruction CPE calls the subroutine from the specified memory location if parity flag is
Q. WEIGHTED-RESISTOR CONVERTER? Figure shows a 4-bit weighted-resistor D/A converter which includes a reference voltage source, a set of four electronically controlled switches
AC Link Chopper This copper has two stage conversion. First DC is converted into AC by the use of inverter. The magnitude of AC voltage is varied by the transformer and
Q. Common control switching system? Common Control Switching System: A functional block diagram of a common control switching system is displayed in Figure. Control functions
Q. What is Trans conductance? It is ratio of small change in drain current to the corresponding change in the gate-to-source voltage for a constant gate-to-source voltage .it i
The increase in the current is building up the magnetic field surrounding the coil. Energy is stored in that field. Consider the energy supplied by the voltage source during the
For carry flag CC ( Call on Carry ) and CNC ( Call on No Carry ) Instructions CC Calls the subroutine form the specified memory location if carry flag is set (CY=
