Process of annealing, Chemical Engineering

Assignment Help:

What are the objectives of annealing?

Annealing, is a heat treatment where in a material is altered, causing alters in its properties like as strength and hardness. It is a process that makes conditions by heating and maintaining a suitable temperature, and then cooling. Annealing is used to persuade ductility, relieve internal stresses, refine the structure and better cold working properties.
